Bring your talent down to the Stars Performing Arts Competition 2017!

Ran in partnership with Tucker Management talent agency and hosted at our bespoke studio space Create Studios, the Stars Competition will be a showcase of fresh, vibrant acts from across Leicester.

Entry starts at just £5 and each candidate will receive priceless feedback from industry professionals on the panel as well as a chance to be scouted by Tucker Management to take their talent to the next level!

Contestants will perform for Heats 1 & 2 in front of a panel of judges followed by a Tucker Management showcase for the third and final round where the winners will be announced!

Terms and Conditions:

1. The competition requires a non-refundable entrance fee to complete an entry; this covers administration and audition costs.

2. Contestants may enter themselves more than once providing each entry is for a different act, for example an entry as a part of a group and a solo entry.

3. Registration does not guarantee an audition slot and Stars reserves the right to refuse admission of entry to the heats and to the showcase.

4. Stars reserves the right to change the dates of the competition.

5. If contestants are under 18 years old they must obtain the consent of parent(s) or legal guardian(s) and enter their details as provided in the application form prior to entry into the competition. By entering, contestants agree that they have received consent if required.

6. By registering for the competition, you agree for photographs and, or video and audio recordings to be taken once on site at Create Studios and used for but not limited to promotional materials, social media and on affiliated websites.

7. There are no lockable storage facilities therefore it is the owners own responsibility for personal property that is brought onto site. Neither Stars, Tucker Management nor Create Studios will not be held responsible for any damage or loss caused to personal property brought onto the site.

8. Anyone of any ability can enter. Information of less abled contestants must be relayed to Stars via email to ruby@starsperformingarts.com at least a week prior to the audition date so preparations can be made if necessary.

9. Contestants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult on site at all times with the exception of the audition room at the specific audition time, at which time a DBS checked licensed chaperone will be present.

10. Neither Stars, Tucker Management nor Create Studios will not be held responsible for any accidents caused by contestants to themselves or other contestants or persons on site.

11. The judges will make non biased, independent decisions which will be final.

12. Prize money will be awarded within thirty days of the showcase date by personal cheque made out to the winning contestants, organisation or their parent(s)/legal guardian(s) should they be under the age of 18.
